Reducing CO2 starts today with Neste MY HVO100<\/h1>\n

RED III: 14.5 percent CO2 reduction in inland shipping sector<\/h2>\n

In the Green Deal on Shipping, Inland Navigation and Ports, it was agreed that by the year 2030 we would like to achieve 40 to 50 percent CO2 reductions compared to 2015. Anno 2024, however, the counter stands at eight percent and that is partly due to the smaller fleet. Earlier there was talk of a mandatory emission label for inland navigation, but this has now been dropped. In order to still reduce emissions in inland navigation, the government is now committed to RED III – this should lead to a CO2 reduction of 14.5% in the entire inland navigation sector. <\/p>\n

Reduce up to 90 percent CO2 with Neste MY renewable diesel<\/h2>\n

Barges that sail on Neste MY Renewable Diesel (HVO100) instead of fossil fuels (diesel oil) realize CO2 reductions of up to ninety percent with immediate effect. And that while the product has a similar chemical composition to fossil diesel and can therefore be refueled without any modifications to the engine or machinery. Moreover, the use of Neste MY HVO100 significantly reduces local emissions of, among other things, particulates, hydrocarbons, nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide and polyaromatic hydrocarbons, especially in older engines where the use of AdBlue\u00ae is not yet a matter of course. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
