Do you know your way around on and around the water?
From three sales offices, two distribution centers, more than 75 filling stations and with more than 60 of its own tankers, OK Oliecentrale supplies companies throughout the Netherlands with fuels, lubricants and related fluids on a daily basis. We do this with some 500 experienced and driven employees, with a heart for our customers and an eye for detail. We also operate on and around the water in the distribution of lubricants and fuels.
Consequently, for our OK Marine division, we are looking for a:
Logistics Officer Marine
with a sense of commerce
Location Tholen
As a Logistics Officer Marine, you will be responsible for our warehouse of lubricants in Tholen. You will ensure a tidy and organized warehouse, perform light administrative work and prepare orders, which you will then deliver by van (often just-in-time) to our shipping customers. Through your regular contact with customers and your knowledge of the maritime world, you also know how to spot commercial opportunities (sales opportunities).
You:
- Have an MBO working and thinking level with a technical or logistics background
- Has affinity with and/or experience in the maritime industry
- Are in possession of driving license C or willing to obtain it
- Are customer-oriented and have good communication skills
- Have commercial qualities
The feature:
We offer you an independent position with varied work. The emphasis is on logistics activities, but if necessary you will also perform light administrative and commercial work. Often you don’t know until shortly beforehand where you may deliver which lubricants. As such, you have a flexible attitude and do not have a 9-to-5 mentality.
